Who We AreThe Cadet Theater Company is the theater arts program within Cascade High School in Clayton, IN. Founded first as "The" Cascade High School Drama Club was brought to life by Mrs. Regina Weber-Scott. After her retirement, the club began to change and eventually did not continue other than an annual spring musical. In 2017, the club was revived by current Troupe Director, CHS graduate, and Drama Club member, Natalee Hessler. Under the leadership of Natalee and teacher Allison Paradise, the club produced a dinner show and talent show between 2017 and 2018. The club also chartered the school's chapter of the International Thespian Society (Troupe #8677) and inducted new members.

In the fall of 2019, the the newly established troupe took on the task of producing its first full-length play in several years, The Odd Couple. This was a unique learning opportunity for current members as the troupe began to grow. This production was a spark for success that was to come and transform into the programs the organization produced today. 2020 brought hardship for many, but the troupe persevered still producing socially-distanced performances, which help to lay the foundation for the growth that was to come. The troupe membership exploded in 2021 with the production of Clue: On Stage and spring musical, All Shook Up. Since 2020-21, The Cadet Theater Company has produced a fall play, spring musical, senior showcase, and also helps to sponsor the Cascade Middle School musical. What used to service five students now services nearly 120-130 students each season.
