Shrek: The Musical JR. by David Linsay-Abaire and Jeanine Tesori
Get ready to journey to a far-off, fairy tale-filled kingdom with Shrek: The Musical Jr.! Based on the beloved DreamWorks film, this fun-filled musical follows Shrek, a grumpy but lovable ogre whose peaceful swamp life is turned upside down when it becomes a refuge for banished fairy tale characters. Determined to get his swamp back, Shrek strikes a deal with the tiny tyrant Lord Farquaad: rescue the feisty Princess Fiona from her dragon-guarded tower, and his home will be his once again. Joined by a wisecracking, ever-loyal Donkey, Shrek sets off on an adventure full of unexpected friendship, laugh-out-loud antics, and a few twists even he didn't see coming.
Bursting with big personalities, catchy songs, and colorful characters straight out of your favorite fairy tales, Shrek Jr. proves that true beauty comes from within — and that sometimes the most unlikely heroes make the best ones. Whether you're a longtime fan of the film or discovering Shrek for the first time, this delightful stage adventure promises laughter, heart, and a whole lot of ogre charm for audiences young and old!
